I thought I would take a moment to talk about massage and the general benefits. I truly believe it is important to have regular massages as part of a healthy lifestyle, massage has been around for thousands of years, from Indian Head Massage which has been practiced in India for around 5000 years to Aromatherapy dating around 3,500 – 4000 BC when Egyptians burned incense and used herbs and spices. It is still a way of family life in many countries around the world.
I spent some time living and working in South East Asia and I saw that massage was the norm in daily life. I often received a weekly treatment and I really saw the difference in my mental and physical health. I felt energised, my sleep patterns were far better and the usual everyday aches and pains started to fade away.
